Your account
How do I sign in to Eery?
With your email address: we send you a six-digit code and you type it in – there is no password. Afterwards you can add a passkey and sign in with Face ID, Touch ID or your password manager. During the beta, new accounts need an invitation.
How do I change my email address?
On the web under Einstellungen → Profil & Konto → Login-Adresse (Settings → Profile & account → Sign-in address). After that, only the new address signs you in. You can also add a recovery address in case you lose access to the first one.
A device I do not recognise is signed in. What should I do?
Under Einstellungen → Profil & Konto → Angemeldete Geräte (Signed-in devices) you see every sign-in and can sign out any unknown device with one click. We also email you whenever a new device signs in, so you notice early.
Cancel your subscription
How do I cancel my subscription?
Without signing in via Verträge hier kündigen (cancel contracts here) – the link is at the bottom of every page – or on the web under Einstellungen → Abo & Bezahlen (Subscription & payment). A monthly plan ends at the end of the current month. A yearly plan ends by itself after twelve months; you do not need to cancel it.
Can I withdraw from a contract?
Yes, within 14 days of signing up via Vertrag widerrufen (withdraw from contract). If you asked Eery to start right away, you pay the share of use up to that point. The details are in the withdrawal policy (German).
Delete your account and your data
How do I delete my account?
Under Einstellungen → Profil & Konto → Konto löschen (Delete account) – on the web and in the iPhone app. This deletes your chats, everything Eery has learned about you, your team, your connections and your Eery space. If you have a subscription, you choose: at the end of the paid period or right away.
How long does my data stay in backups after deletion?
We back up data every night so nothing is lost if something breaks. Backups are encrypted and deleted after 14 days at the latest. The details are in the privacy policy (German).
How do I get a copy of my data?
On the web under Einstellungen → Profil & Konto → Meine Daten herunterladen (Download my data): everything Eery knows about you, as one file. You can do this at any time, as often as you like.
Where is my data stored?
Your Eery runs on servers in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, separate from other people’s Eerys. Which services we use and where data goes when Eery writes an answer is described in the privacy policy (German).
Disconnect apps
How do I disconnect an app such as Google or Microsoft?
Under Ich → Verbindungen (Me → Connections), open the connection and choose Trennen (Disconnect). Eery then stops reading mail, calendars and contacts there. You can reconnect at any time. For Google and Microsoft you can also remove the access in your Google or Microsoft account.
What does Eery do without asking me?
Anything that reaches other people – such as sending an email to someone or paying for something – Eery asks you first. You decide what Eery may do without asking under Einstellungen → Privatsphäre & Sicherheit → Was Eery ohne Nachfrage darf (What Eery may do without asking).
Eery in WhatsApp
How do I connect WhatsApp?
Under Ich → Verbindungen → WhatsApp. Eery joins your WhatsApp as a linked device – like WhatsApp Web, with no second number and nothing to install. Then you write to Eery in the “Message yourself” chat and bring Eery into a group with “@Eery …”.
How do I disconnect WhatsApp?
In Eery under Ich → Verbindungen → WhatsApp → Trennen (Disconnect). Or directly in WhatsApp under Linked devices – Eery shows up there as “Eery” or “Chrome (Mac OS)”.
What should I keep in mind with WhatsApp?
Eery in WhatsApp is meant for personal use. Mass messages break WhatsApp’s rules and can lead WhatsApp to block your number.
Eery for companies
How does my company get Eery?
On the page Eery für Firmen (Eery for companies, German): it shows the offer and lets you write to us directly. What the company Eery can do is explained on KI für Unternehmen.
Who manages the company in Eery?
Owners and admins under Firma verwalten (Manage company): members, rules and log. The works council can read the rules. The company Eery is its own Eery on its own machine, separate from the members’ personal Eerys.
Why are HR apps such as Personio blocked?
Apps for staff data such as Personio and Factorial are blocked for new companies. If you have a works council, it has to agree before Eery works with staff data (German Works Constitution Act, § 87). Only owners and admins can allow them under Firma verwalten → Regeln (Manage company → Rules). Even then, Eery must not prepare decisions about people at work – under the EU AI Act that would be a high-risk use.
When Eery gets it wrong
Eery wrote something wrong or inappropriate. What can I do?
Report the answer: on the web via … below the answer, in the iPhone app by pressing and holding the answer – then Antwort melden (Report answer). You pick a reason and decide whether the answer text is included. A person on the Eery team looks at every report. In a company Eery the report goes to us, not to your company.
How do I report content on a shared page?
Every page someone shared with Eery has an Inhalt melden (Report content) link at the bottom. You do not need an account. You can also paste the page’s link into the report form.
